Breath weapon

Dragonborn characters have a breath weapon allowing them to make a short-range attack with elemental damage.

Depending on the subrace, a specific racial breath weapon attack becomes available.

Poison Breath	AoE: 5 m (17 ft) Cone of ⁠Poison damage	CON Save	Green Dragonborn

Outside of the differences listed in the table, all breath weapons are the same:

Spell save DC = 8 + Constitution modifier + Proficiency Bonus

• On save, the target still takes half the damage
• Recharge on short rest
• Initial damage of 2d6
• Damage increases to 3d6 at level 6
• Damage increases to 4d6 at level 11

Equipment

• Drakethroat Glaive:  Vicious Dragon Breath – Enemies have  Disadvantage on  Saving Throws against your dragonborn breath weapon.

Notes

• Although similar in name, visuals, and mechanics,  Dazzling Breath is noticably not a dragonborn breath weapon, but a Circle of Stars subclass feature.
