Mapped Terror: Darkness is a level 4 illusion spell. This spell frightens a target with the inexorable terror of darkness, inflicting a vicious blinding disease upon them. It cannot be learned by party members.

Exploit the target's mapped fear to  Frighten it and inflict  Blinding Sickness upon it.

• Each turn, it must succeed on a  Saving Throw, or the poison will advance in stage. On 3 successes, it recovers. On 3 failures, it contracts the disease corresponding to the variant of the spell Contagion that was cast.

• Cannot move. Frightened entities also have  Disadvantage on  Ability Checks and  Attack Rolls.

Notes

• Cast by Viconia DeVir after using Castigate Heartform on a character who professed to fearing "Darkness" during the Mapping of the Heart
• Contagion Poisoned is inflicted at stage 3, and after failing a single  Constitution Saving Throw, the target will be  Stricken With Blinding Sickness. The target must succeed on 3 consecutive saving throws to remove the condition (or defeat Viconia).
