A mermaid is an aquatic humanoid.

No mermaids can be found in Baldur's Gate 3, though a young Wyll Wyll believed to have encountered one.[1]

Some adventurers have confused Harpy harpies with mermaids on account of their Luring Songs Luring Songs.
