Notes

  • To safely disarm the chest a character must jump behind the nearby statue, succeed on a passive Perception check, pick up the revealed  Selûnite Prayer Sheet, then read the prayer sheet from their inventory while standing next to the gilded chest.
  • If anyone interacts with the gilded chest before removing Selûne's Seal, they must succeed a DC 14 Dexterity Saving Throw DC 14 Dexterity Saving Throw to avoid taking 4d6⁠Radiant⁠Radiant damage.
  • Shadowheart Shadowheart, worshipping Shar Shar, cannot unlock this chest.
  • The chest can also be unlocked and its protective seal removed by casting Knock Knock on it, including by Shadowheart.
  • Any cleric of Selûne Selûne (including Shadowheart Shadowheart after she spares the The Nightsong The Nightsong) in the party can bypass the Seal and freely open the chest, without the  Selûnite Prayer Sheet.
