Shadow Blade is an uncommon Shortsword which grants the wielder advantage against Lightly or Heavily Obscured targets when using this blade. It also deals 2d8 Psychic damage instead of the usual 1d6.

Umbral claws sweep through the long slender facets of the blade.

Notes

• Unlike most Shortswords, Shadow Blade is classified as a Simple weapon and not a Martial weapon.
• The summoner gains innate proficiency with this weapon so wizards and sorcerers who lack Shortsword proficiency can still use it to its fullest potential.
• While this weapon can be dipped in most cases, it cannot be Dipped in Fire.
• This weapon cannot be disarmed.

Notes included from Shadow Blade (passive feature):

• While active, Shadow Blade provides  Advantage to both mainhand and off-hand equipped melee weapons.
• Prior to Patch 8 Hotfix 1, Shadow Blade granted advantage to all attack rolls when active. This was changed to only melee weapon attacks.
