Bard's don't have access to command at level 1

In patch 9 of EA Bard's don't get command at level 1.

Multiclassing Casting Bug

If you multiclass Cleric > Paladin 2 you are forced to have both command spells prepared to cast it and it can only be cast with wisdom. If you go Paladin 2 > Cleric 1 then you can have it unprepared as a cleric and cast with Cha but you can't ever cast it with Wis. UserIDHere (talk) 23:53, 7 March 2026 (CET)

This. Furthermore Multiclassing Paladin>Cleric>Paladin will give both the CHA and WIS versions of the spell when only Cleric selects it though it will say neither are prepared, you will have access to both. This is the only way for a paladin cleric multiclass to have full command spell access if they want Wisdom for spellcasting modifier and a wisdom cast for command without needing the spell selected on BOTH Paladin and Cleric. Also if you go a Paladin>Paladin>Cleric>Cleric you gain access to spell level 2 Command of both CHA and WIS but Level 1 slots will remain inaccessible if only selecting Command through Cleric.
