Couldn’t you command him to drop his weapon?[edit section]

Since you can get weapons by commanding a person to drop their weapon before combat and cutscenes and stuff, couldn’t you do that with Yurgir to do his quest and get his crossbow?

Hellfire Hand Crossbow and Elemental Weapon.[edit section]

So I've tested this with the Elemental Weapon from the Flail of Ages where I discovered this bug or interaction and I used the Spell Elemental Weapon from a Paladin. Normally the spell gives the weapon a 1d4 of the chosen type for most of the weapons in the game. However, the 1d4 from Elemental Weapon replaces the 1d4 Fire that the crossbow has. Even crazier than that. If you lose concentration or if you enchant another weapon, The Crossbow straight up loses the extra 1d4 entirely. making it a standard +2 Crossbow. This crossbow does not have any innate 1d4 Fire damage to it? .clay 19:45, 17 April 2026 (CEST)Reply
In all my runs it's had a 1d4 fire damage I have the screenshots that have it on there. Trimack (talk) 20:34, 17 April 2026 (CEST)Reply
actually I'm so dumb I apologize, I realize now it was the flawed helldusk gloves that were the source of the fire damage Trimack (talk) 23:22, 17 April 2026 (CEST)Reply
