Wolf Dream conditions

When I've tried to do this, I've found that you can only get the wolf dream to trigger if you've actually spoken to Shadowheart about her fear of wolves. The only way to trigger that conversation is to have her fail the save when seeing a wolf, so she gets the Frightened condition.

Because there are only a few wolves in the game, and Shadowheart has quite good Wisdom saves, it's easily possible for her to never get frightened, meaning you get locked out of the conversation entirely. Generally I fix it by saving before I meet a wolf, and reloading until she fails the save. 213.10.109.195 11:28, 2 August 2026 (CEST)
