Entangle is a level 1 conjuration spell. It allows spellcasters to conjure magical vines and turn an area within range into difficult terrain. Creatures are possibly Entangled and move at half speed while standing in this area.
If a character becomes Entangled when this spell is cast, it remains so until the end of its next turn, because Entangled loses duration at the end of the combat turn. Instead, Prone from Grease or Enwebbed from Web do not prevent a character from moving during its next turn (unless they get this condition again when moving).
Entangle has TargetConditions of not Grounded(), which means it cannot be targeted against creatures that have the Grounded attribute (such Ketheric Thorm with Reaper's Rigidity). Despite this restriction, Entangle does affect creatures that have the Grounded attribute (without any change in functionality), and can be cast against such creatures by indirectly targeting them within the AoE circle.
