Not to be confused with Faithbreaker

Foebreaker is a very rare +2 Maul that ignores Bludgeoning resistance of targets.
As heavy and opposed to nonsense as the kitchen cook in most stories about some young adventurous girl going to become a knight or a hedge witch or something. You've got to have a big no nonsense cook. It's like rules.

Special
The holder of this item gains:
- Lethal Weapon
- This weapon ignores resistance to Bludgeoning damage.
Main Hand Only
- When you miss a melee attack, you deal Strength ModifierBludgeoning damage (minimum of 1) anyway.
Weapon actions
If you have proficiency, equip in main hand to gain:
- Backbreaker ()
- Put extra force behind your strike to possibly knock your enemy Prone. ( Recharge: Short rest.)
- Concussive Smash ()
- Hit an enemy with all your might to deal damage and possibly Daze them. ( Recharge: Short rest.)
Where to find
- Sorcerous Vault X: 326 Y: 998: in a hidden chest in the Karsus section
Notes
- Once in the vault, upon finding the named doors, the party must go through the doors in the following order Silverhand -> Abjuration -> Silver to find a lever to unlock the Karsus vault door. Then the party must go through Demon to return to the starting room and proceed through the opened Karsus door. The chest is invisible and requires See Invisibility or Faerie Fire to reveal it.
Regarding Lethal Weapon (Bludgeoning):
- Lethal Weapon does not bypass immunity to bludgeoning, only resistance.
- Lethal Weapon applies to unarmed strikes made while it is equipped. The game does not allow most characters to make unarmed strikes while a melee weapon is equipped in their main hand, but Monks who are level 5 and higher can use Stunning Strike to do this; they can also use Unarmed Strike to apply this effect with their off-hand as a Bonus Action.
- All sources of Bludgeoning damage from a character with Lethal Weapon ignore resistance. For example, another dual-wielded bludgeoning damage weapon striking in melee, Dwarven Thrower being thrown, or the spell Ice Storm.
Regarding Tenacity:
- If a weapon action misses, using Tenacity does not trigger its effects.
- As Tenacity deals weapon damage even if an attack misses, it can trigger many on-hit effects from equipment. For example, from the Gloves of Power, the Callous Glow Ring, weapon coatings, or any infusion from the Ring of Elemental Infusion.
Bugs
Regarding Tenacity:
- As Horde Breaker (Melee) rolls invisible, zero-damage weapon attacks against all enemies in the Horde Breaker area of effect, Tenacity can be prompted to trigger against them even if the first attack hits. It is therefore possible to score 2 hits in one attack: the full attack against the original Horde Breaker target and a Tenacity hit against another target.
