Prey's Scent is passive feature available to Swarmkeepers which lets their swarms benefit from Hunter's MarkHunter's Mark.

Description

Your swarm deals additional damage to creatures marked by Hunter's MarkHunter's Mark

Notes

  • This effect is only triggered when using the attack ability for the chosen swarm. Other abilities such as Flurry of Moths: Blinding SwarmFlurry of Moths: Blinding Swarm will not deal damage from Prey's Scent.
  • The damage type depends on the Gathered Swarm type and matches the damage that it normally deals.
    • Legion of Bees: Attack Legion of Bees: Attack gets 1d6PiercingPiercing bonus damage.
    • Cloud of Jellyfish: Attack Cloud of Jellyfish: Attack gets 1d6LightningLightning bonus damage.
    • Flurry of Moths: Attack Flurry of Moths: Attack gets 1d6PsychicPsychic bonus damage.
  • Mighty Swarm increases the damage of these attacks from 1d6 to 1d8, but the bonus damage from Prey's Scent remains 1d6.
  • On a critical hit, the damage of the swarm attack is doubled to 2d6, but Prey's Scent still only deals 1d6 damage.

Bugs

  • This passive is not correctly removed from characters upon respec, and will continue to display permanently in a character's "Notable Features" section even when no longer specced as a Ranger.
