Involvement[edit | edit source]
Act One[edit | edit source]
Rhy only appears at the tiefling camp celebration, which happens during a long rest after successfully finishing Defeat the Goblins. He takes the place of Guex, if he is dead.
Idle banter[edit | edit source]
Rhy chats with Ikaron (if present) during the camp celebration after the assault on Emerald Grove:
- Ikaron
- How many of those have you had?
- Rhy
- Who's counting? It's a celebration!
- Ikaron
- It's a wake.
- Rhy
- Don't you think we owe the dead a pint or two?
- Ikaron
- I think you just want an excuse to drink.
- Rhy
- You could stand to relax a bit, mate.
- Ikaron
- I am relaxed.
- Rhy
- You're tense as a bowstring.
- Rhy
- I see the problem - you don't have a drink!
- Rhy
- Here, take mine.
- Ikaron
- I'd rather keep my wits about me, thanks.
- Rhy
- Don't you think we owe the dead a pint or two?
- Ikaron
- I think you just want an excuse to drink.
Rhy chats with Ikaron (if present) and convinced to take part in drinking:
- Rhy
- Did I see you drinking ale?
- Ikaron
- It was just the one.
- Ikaron
- And no, I don't want another.
- Rhy
- Could be ale's just not your drink.
- Rhy
- Someone, wine! Quick!
- Ikaron
- No wine! The ale was more than enough.
- Rhy
- Your cheeks are looking a bit pinker than usual.
- Ikaron
- Are they? Oh, gods.
- Rhy
- All it took was one! I'm jealous.
- Rhy
- Here's to us!
- Ikaron
- That was so loud.
- Rhy
- Oh. Was it?
Kivak and Rhy talking about various things:
- Kivak
- What're you going to do in Baldur's Gate when we get there?
- Rhy
- More of this!
- Rhy
- Gods, it's good to be out of that damned grove!
- Kivak
- This, though! Night sky, warm fire...
- Rhy
- Prefer the city, being honest.
- Kivak
- How much ale you figure we have left?
- Rhy
- Not enough. Never enough!
- Kivak
- Never thought things would end up this way.
- Rhy
- Chin up! This is a celebration!
- Kivak
- Yeah... yeah. It is!
- Rhy
- To living!
