Zae is one of the tiefling refugees seeking shelter at the Emerald Grove in Act One.

Act One[edit section | visual editor]

Zae appears only at the tiefling camp celebration, which happens during a long rest after successfully finishing Defeat the Goblins⁠Defeat the Goblins. She takes the place of Lakrissa Lakrissa, if she dies.

All she wants to do is dance. The party member talking to her has a number of options, and simply swaying their arms and hips does not satisfy her:

  • [BARD] [PERFORMANCE] Begin a classical Baldurian courtier's dance. (DC 10)
  • [BARD] [PERFORMANCE] Improvise a unique dance. (DC 10)

Dancing with her successfully grants the Celebrant⁠Celebrant inspiration for party members with the Entertainer background.

She appears as one of the dead tieflings at the Goblin Celebration if the quest Raid the Emerald Grove⁠Raid the Emerald Grove is completed.
