How to learn

Classes:

Bugs

  • Despite not dealing any PoisonPoison damage, this spell is tagged as a poison DamageType.
  • When first cast on an enemy, the combat log displays the enemy as making two separate saving throw rolls.
  • After the initial cast, subsequent turns of Insect Plague use the Constitution modifier of the caster, not the spellcasting modifier, in order to determine Difficulty Class.
  • When upcast to  Level 6 Spell Slot, Insect Plague is missing a technical condition which is normally applied when a creature first enters the radius. This causes the following behavior, which is different from when cast at  Level 5 Spell Slot:
    • Damage is dealt both when a creature first enters the radius and when it ends it turn within the radius on the same turn.
    • Damage is dealt each time a creature exits and re-enters the radius during a turn.
