Voss' Silver Sword

Not to be confused with Silver Sword of the Astral Plane

Voss' Silver Sword is a very rare +2 Longsword enhanced with additional ⁠Psychic damage. It also grants a bonus to damage and Attack Rolls against githyanki, aberrations, fiends and elementals and well as granting the wielder the ability to cast the Wrathful Smite spell.

Heavy and grouted in the gore of countless centuries, this prototype for the contemporary githyanki silver sword was wielded during their rebellion against the mind flayers who enslaved them.

This weapon grants a +1d4 bonus to damage and  Attack Rolls against githyanki, aberrations, fiends, and elementals.

Weapon actions

If you have proficiency, equip in main hand to gain:

 Lacerate ()

Slash at your target's vital points to make it  Bleed. ( Recharge: Short rest.)

 Pommel Strike ()

Make a non-lethal attack against an enemy and possibly  Daze them. ( Recharge: Short rest.)

 Rush Attack ()

Charge forward and attack the first enemy in your way, possibly pushing them  Off Balance. ( Recharge: Short rest.)

• Upper City: Looted from Voss, if he is killed at the end of Act Three

Notes

• Prior to Patch 6 it could be purchased from Voss during Act 3, but this is no longer the case.
• The sword can be pickpocketed from Voss ( DC 26 Sleight of Hand Check) as early as right before the conversation with Raphael by a stealthy character buffed with  Greater Invisibility, followed by teleportation to camp.

Bugs

Bugs included from Interplanar Slayer:

• Interplanar Slayer does not add the 1d4 bonus to attack rolls, though the damage bonus does apply to attacks made only with this weapon.
