Ketheric's Shield

Ketheric's Shield is a rare Shield. It grants the Shield Bash action, improves the wielder's spellcasting-related rolls, and also gives them Advantage on Dexterity Saving Throws.

In the theatre of dreams, Ketheric killed his wife every night. That wasn't how things happened... but always upon waking, he would glare into the dark, long-faced and solemn, and he would think: 'I keep you alive with my memories, beloved. I kill you with what I've become.'

When a foe hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to knock it  Prone unless they succeed a  Dexterity Saving Throw.

• Mind Flayer Colony X: 861 Y: -23: Carried by  Ketheric Thorm when fought atop Moonrise Towers and in the Mind Flayer Colony (see notes)

Notes

• This shield can be obtained early – while fighting Ketheric Thorm atop Moonrise Towers – by disarming him, placing any two-handed weapon near him, waiting for him to equip that weapon, then pickpocketing the shield while he is still invulnerable.

Regarding Shield Bash:

• This reaction triggers the class action  Shield Blow against the attacker.

Bugs

Regarding Shield Bash:

• The description of this passive incorreclty states it requires a Dexterity saving throw; it instead requires a Strength saving throw.
