Cosmic Omen

Cosmic Omen is a passive feature that allows Circle of the Stars druids to consult the stars.

Description

Whenever you Long Rest, you consult the stars for a Cosmic Omen of Weal or of Woe. The omen grants you the ability to increase (Weal) or decrease (Woe)  Attack Rolls or  Saving Throws, or (Weal only) to increase your allies' Ability Checks.

Grants:

•  Cosmic Omen: Ability Check

Condition: Cosmic Omen of Weal

 Cosmic Omen of Weal

Duration: Until Long rest

• You gain the ability to add 1d6 to  Attack Rolls and  Saving Throws, and to grant a +1d6 bonus on  Ability Checks.

Condition: Cosmic Omen of Woe

 Cosmic Omen of Woe

Duration: Until Long rest

• You gain the ability to subtract 1d6 from  Attack Rolls and  Saving Throws.

How to learn

Classes:

• Class level 6: Circle of the Stars

Notes

• There is a 50/50 chance each day of gaining either the Weal or Woe abilities, the result being randomly determined after every Long Rest. Thus, it is possible to end up with the same ability set for several consecutive days.
