Involvement[edit section | visual editor]

Griff can be encountered in the Bloomridge Park, after the party defeat the Bhaal cultists waiting for them in ambush. She only appears in the gameplay if Manip EdenosaManip Edenosa did not survive the battle.

Griff approaches the party immediately after resolving the battle, and the NetherbrainNetherbrain speaks to the player character through her, entreating the party to kill any remaining of the Dead Three, as it would have done through Edenosa. Griff then dies from the mind strain. Connecting with the Netherbrain in this manner grants the Urgent CommunicationsUrgent Communications inspiration event to any party member with the Soldier background.

After death, Griff unlike Edenosa cannot be looted for a Mind Flayer Parasite Specimen.
