Norffe

Chymist Norffe is a human who can be encountered in the Felogyr's Fireworks workshop in the Lower City of the Baldur's Gate, in Act Three of the game, while following through the quest ⁠Investigate the Suspicious Toys.

Involvement

Chymist Norffe can be found on the second floor of Felogyr's Fireworks. He is an assistant of  Tomboldt the Pallid, the head of the secret explosives' production that hides behind the veneer of the pyrotechnics shop.

Norffe works in the main laboratory, guarded by  Fist of Bane Hyrriet and  Fist of Bane Volgu Drak.

As the second floor of Felogyr's Fireworks is considered a restricted area, Chymist Norffe, along with other laboratory workers and guards, becomes hostile immediately upon seeing any party member there, or if he is spoken with. Also he joins the fight as soon as he notices any commotion, siding with other followers of  Bane.

If the spell misses, the target still takes half the initial damage, but no damage at the end of its next turn.

Possibly  Poisons the target.
