Shadow Step

Not to be confused with Shadow Walk

Shadow Step is a Way of Shadow monk class action. It allows a monk to enter the shadows and reappear at a distant, obscure location, gaining  Advantage on their next melee attack.

Description

Teleport from shadow to shadow.

Afterwards, you have  Advantage on your next melee  Attack Roll.

Area must be Lightly or Heavily Obscured.

Notes

• Neither the starting position nor the destination can be a  Clear Area.
• As of Patch 5, this ability no longer has a verbal component, and thus can be cast while  Silenced.
