Involvement

Act Three

Velki is in the Bhaal Temple in the Undercity of Baldur's Gate. She patrols the upper balcony of the temple and never descends to the central altar ground.

Velki remains neutral to the party unless attacked, regardless of whether or not the player character is the  Dark Urge or Orin is killed.

Velki is particularly interested in flaying her victims and tanning their skin afterwards. Unlike other Bhaalists, Velki cares only for her trophies. If the player character is not the Dark Urge, her one-liners before fighting Orin differ depending on their race.

If the player character is the Dark Urge, she asks they let her have Orin's carcass after the duel, and states she already asked Orin for the same favor in case the Dark Urge fails. After the fight, she is indifferent to whether the Dark Urge embraces or rejects their Bhaalspawn legacy.
