Bugbear Assassin is a humanoid bugbear enemy in the Emerald Grove in Act One.
You have good timing. Never been much of a fighter, so wrestling a bugbear would have gone poorly.

The Bugbear Assassin has infiltrated the Emerald Grove, and is stalking NadiraNadira as easy prey on the high hill east of the gate. If left unchecked, he kills Nadira.

Although the Bugbear Assassin is a lone enemy, his Brute passive can stack up significant damage on a strike, making up for his average Strength. His Morningstar is coated with Basic Poison. Through his Tenacity passive, the PoisonedPoisoned condition will always be applied.

Interrupting the bugbear in the midst of his ambush results in his being SurprisedSurprised, allowing the party a free round of actions.
