Involvement

Act One

Silver is usually in the Inner Sanctum of the Emerald Grove. He follows  Rath, including into battle against the other druids.

Without Speak with Animals

A party member can attempt to approach Silver.

• Silver

  *Growl.*

  • [ANIMAL HANDLING] Try to get closer. (DC 10) (if not Shadowheart)
  • [SHADOWHEART] [ANIMAL HANDLING] Try to get closer. (DC 10 )

If approached successfully:

• Shh. It's all right. (if not a Ranger or Druid)
• Go boy. Chase!
• Shh, I won't hurt you.
• Down, boy.
• [RANGER] [DRUID] Sit next to him, murmuring softly while avoiding eye contact.

With Speak with Animals

Alternatively, the party member can use  Speak with Animals:

• Silver

  Another stranger come to vex me. What will you do? Hunt me? Grab my tail? Shout until my head hurts?

  • Relax. No one is here to hurt you.
  • Who's been pestering you? I'll teach them a lesson.
  • I just wanted to give you my smell. I'll leave you be.

Companion approval

The last two options of either method will successfully calm Silver, resulting in  +1  +1  +1  +1
