Involvement

Act Three

Arborio Rolfin stands in the corner of reception room in the Wyrm's Rock Fortress, waiting for his case to be brought before a Flaming Fist investigator. Along with  Civilian, he appears likely of being accused of breaking and entering, as well as arson. Their lawyer,  Fentamia Viney, tries to practise a defending speech with both.

Idle banter

• Fentamia Viney

  Let's rehearse this one more time. Pretend I'm a Fist, and tell me what you were doing in the house.

• Civilian

  Well, your Fistliness, we broke down the door because it sounded like somebody was in trouble inside.

• Arborio Rolfin

  The house was on fire. We were rescuing people.

• Fentamia Viney

  I spoke to a witness who says you entered the house before the fire started.

• Civilian

  Who said that? I'll break their bloody legs!

• Arborio Rolfin

  Err, what my friend means to say is that the witness must have been mistaken. Probably a drunk.
