Mîran
Fist Mîran is a human ranger and a member of the Flaming Fist. He can be found in Rivington in Act Three.

Mîran is stationed together with Fist Richter, Fist Jepsen, Gauntlet Edwynna and a Steel Watcher at the South Span Checkpoint. They guard the actual entrance to the Wyrm's Crossing, preventing refugees from entering Baldur's Gate through it. Mîran walks back and forth on the top of the fortificated gate and is not very keen on participating in conversations.
After the player character has gained access into the Wyrm's Crossing (whichever way available) and took a long rest, Mîran treats the party as other citizens eligible to cross the checkpoint in any direction.

Spend 6 m (20 ft) of your movement. For the rest of your turn, roll ranged damage twice and use the highest result.

Deal regular damage and possibly inflict Gaping Wounds which cause extra damage on attacks.
Undead and constructs can't receive Gaping Wounds.
