Fist Varone is a human wizard and a member of the Flaming Fist. She can be found in the Rivington in Act Three.

Involvement[edit section | visual editor]

Varone together with Fist PooleFist Poole, Fist RowanFist Rowan, Fist MadiganFist Madigan, Fist LochanFist Lochan and Fist BroadhornFist Broadhorn, under command of Manip NestorManip Nestor, guards the goods donated to the benefit of refugees, put into storage inside the Requisitioned Barn. Varone is one of three Fists stationed outside; she looks over the side entrance to the barn.

If any party member is spotted by Varone while trying to sneak into the barn without permission or caught inside, one of the Fists orders them to go and speak with the Manip (which teleports the party to the entrance). Being caught a second time results in them being arrested.

Unlike some other members of the Manip Nestor’s squad, speaking with Varone offers no changes to approval.

If it is higher level than the spell slot you used to Counterspell, you must make a check using your spellcasting ability[See: Bugs] to prevent it. The check's difficulty is equal to 10 plus the level of the spell you are trying to counter.

This spell can be cast while you are SilencedSilenced.

If the spell misses, the target still takes half the initial damage, but no damage at the end of its next turn.

SlowSlow (Action + Level 3 Spell Slot)

Alter time around up to 6 enemies to Slow them. They won't get far, they can't do much, and they're easier to hit.
