Githyanki gish are an archetype of githyanki character encountered throughout Baldur's Gate 3.

Involvement

As Battlemages who blend arcane spellcasting with melee combat, gish soldiers are versatile combatants.

Regular gish troops are located in many places of githyanki influence.

Attacks and actions

 Blindness ( + )

Limit a foe's sight range. It is easier to hit, and the creature will miss more often.

 Attack Rolls against it have  Advantage and the foe attacks with  Disadvantage.

 Burning Hands ( + )

Damage: 3~18

3d6⁠Fire

Each flammable target is hit with 3d6⁠⁠Fire damage.

 DEX Save

 Range: Self

 AoE: 5 m (17 ft) Cone

 Hold Person ( + )

Hold a humanoid enemy still. They can't move, act, or react. Attacks from within 3 m (10 ft) are always Critical Hits.

At the end of each turn, the affected creature can make a  Wisdom Saving Throw to end this condition.

 Misty Step ()

Surrounded by silver mist, you teleport to an unoccupied space you can see.

 Range: 18 m (60 ft)

 Recharge: Long rest

 Ray of Frost ()

Damage: 1~8

1d8⁠Cold

Reduces the target's Movement Speed by 3 m (10 ft).

 Range: 18 m (60 ft)

 Shocking Grasp ()

Damage: 1~8

1d8⁠Lightning

The target cannot use Reactions. This spell has  Advantage on creatures with metal Armour.

 Melee: 1.5 m (5 ft)
