Lookout Grush is a goblin stationed at the Shattered Sanctum in Act One. He and Torturer SpikeTorturer Spike are interrogating LiamLiam next to the Bloodied Shrine.

Act One[edit section | visual editor]

When a party member approaches, a cutscene plays out where Spike tortures Liam and asks them to join him. The party member can take over the interrogation, force Grush and Spike to leave using their Illithid tadpole, or deceive them to into believing they have been relieved of their duties.

If the party member tortures Liam into revealing the Emerald Grove's location, Grush informs MintharaMinthara, who prepares an assault on the Grove. After informing Minthara, Grush moves to where AbdirakAbdirak is and loiters there.

If Spike witnesses a party member undergo the pain ritual with Abdirak, he exclaims that he needs to "see it again" and commands Grush to undergo the ritual as well. The party can then watch as Grush takes hit after hit, eventually succumbing and getting Knocked OutKnocked Out.
