Involvement

Act Two

Gronag is in a camp next to  Kansif and  Brawler Vez, and can escort the party alongside  Kar'niss. If a party member speaks with him in their camp, he will throw a bone into the Shadow Curse and watch with glee as a  Hyena is killed fetching it unless they intervene. The party member can elect to use their Illithid powers, while a Dark Urge character can command Gronag to fetch the bone instead. This rewards the Forcing Responsibility for the Haunted One background.

If Gronag survives the trip to Moonrise Towers or is never encountered, he travels to Moonrise Towers and is west of the throne room alongside Vez and  Lora.
